Godzilla
Rococo Godzilla Echoing the exuberance of Rococo style, this work is based on one of the most iconic die-cast toys of the 1990s: a Godzilla figure that I have given new life by transforming it into a candlestick. The object is nickel-coated and measures 40 cm in height. Only a limited number have been made, with one residing in Hong Kong and another in New York. The piece fully reflects my approach of creating mash-ups that breathe new life into forgotten objects.
